CIMC SOE Successfully Delivered two 2000m³ LNG Fuel Tanks to CIMC Raffles

On August 4, Nantong CIMC Sinopacific Offshore & Engineering Co., Ltd (CIMC SOE) successfully delivered two 2,000m³ LNG tanks at the East Quay of its Qidong base.

The LNG fuel tank delivered this time is the third of 6 sets of 2000m³ series, which will be used for the 7000 CEU dual-fuel PCTC project to be constructed by Longkou CIMC Raffles Offshore Engineering (CIMC Raffles), with an overall tank length of about 42 meters and classed by LR.

It is understood that CIMC Raffles and CIMC SOE belong to the offshore and energy-chemical sections of CIMC Group respectively. Thanks to the synergistic cooperation, resource intercommunication and overcoming difficulties, the two sides have broken through the overall arrangement and structural strength design of the LNG tank and PCTC dual-fuel carrier, creating another successful model of synergistic cooperation between the two brother enterprises under CIMC.
