Recently, CSSC Wuhan Marine Machinery Plant (WMMP) signed a batch of 325,000 DWT methanol dual-fuel large-scale ore carriers and 114,000 DWT Aframax oil tankers supporting equipment contract with COSCO Shipping Heavy Industry (Yangzhou). This batch order includes 24 sets of anchor winch and 5 sets of steering gear.
It is understood that COSCO Shipping Heavy Industry (Yangzhou) is subordinate to COSCO Shipping Heavy Industry under China COSCO Shipping Corp. and is mainly engaged in the manufacture of medium and large-sized ships and floating devices on the water etc..
In recent years, WMMP and COSCO Shipping Heavy Industry (Yangzhou) have cooperated deeply, WMMP has delivered a series of marine supporting equipments to COSCO Shipping Heavy Industry (Yangzhou) for 208,000 DWT bulk carriers, 210,000 DWT bulk carriers, 81,200 DWT bulk carriers, 14,000 TEU containerships, 16,000 TEU containerships.
