GUMECO Wins Design Project of Fishery Law Enforcement Vessel for Fujian Provincial Marine and Fishery Law Enforcement Corps

Recently, China State Shipbuilding Corporation (CSSC)’s Guangzhou Marine Engineering Corporation (GUMECO) has successfully won the bidding for the design project of a 600-ton fishery law enforcement vessel for the Fujian Provincial Marine and Fishery Law Enforcement Corps.

The program combines advanced ship technology, efficient law enforcement functional layout and comfortable crew living space, aiming to provide the Fujian Provincial Marine and Fishery Law Enforcement Corps with a law enforcement vessel with excellent performance and powerful functions.

The vessel has an overall length of 65 meters, far sea navigation area and adopts double-engine and double-propeller propulsion with a speed of 21 knots. It is also equipped with advanced maritime informatization law enforcement equipment such as communication and navigation, photoelectric forensics, network monitoring, etc. It is intended to obtain the China Classification Society (CCS) Intelligent Ship Notation, and in the future it will become the powerful assistant of marine law enforcement in Fujian Province, playing an important role in guarding the marine resources and maintaining the marine ecological environment.

Through years of vessel optimization and technology accumulation, GUMECO has formed a series of excellent vessel types ranging from 100-ton to 600-ton in the field of fishery vessels, which are widely favored by domestic fishery law enforcement departments.
