Nantong Zhenhua Heavy Equipment Manufacturing Launched a 5,000-ton Self-propelled Crane Vessel

On July 30th, Nantong Zhenhua Heavy Equipment Manufacturing, a wholly-owned subsidiary of Shanghai Zhenhua Port Machinery (Group), successfully launched “Hua Zhaolong”, a 5,000-ton self-propelled crane vessel, which is built for Guangzhou Salvage Bureau.

“Hua Zhaolong” is a steel all-welded self-propelled crane vessel with a length of 195 meters, a beam of 49.8 meters, a depth of 16 meters, a design speed of 10 knots and a structural weight of about 18,520 tons.

The vessel features a streamlined bow, with a crane of 5,000 tons lifting capacity at the stern, and is equipped with DP2 power positioning and mooring positioning system. Classed by CCS and flying the Chinese flag, the vessel is capable of long distance self-propelled voyage, which can sail in the international unlimited navigation area and meets the TierIII emission requirements.

After completion, the vessel can be deployed for offshore wind power pile foundation construction, booster station and large offshore component installation and other marine projects.
