CMJL (Weihai) launched two self-propelled jack-up work platforms

On July 23rd, China Merchants Jingling Shipyard (Weihai) Co. Ltd. CMJL (Weihai) launched the 3rd and 4th self-propelled jack-up work platforms, which was built for CTW (Tianjin) Offshore Engineering.

Faced with two platforms launching at the same time, all departments of CMJL (Weihai) worked closely together to overcome the difficulties of tight schedule and limited crane resources, and formulated detailed special plans for the key processes, such as pile leg lifting, lifting system, generator commissioning, etc., to ensure the progress of the project and the quality of the construction.

It is worth mentioning that, through centralized operation and summarizing experience, the progress of lifting system integrity, pile leg lifting, lifting gear wedge block research and matching of the two platforms has been greatly improved, and the cycle of gear box integrity inspection has been shortened by 20% compared with that of the same type of offshore platforms before.
