Beihai Shipbuilding kicked off one ship and laid keel for two others

July 19, China State Shipbuilding Corporation (CSSC) Qingdao Beihai Shipbuilding Co., Ltd. kicked off the construction of one ship and laid keel for another two ships.

On July 19, Beihai Shipbuilding kicked off the the construction of a 210,000 DWT LNG dual-fuel bulk carrier for Japan’s MOL.

At present, Beihai Shipbuilding ranks first in the world in terms of hand-held orders for bulk carriers. Combined with the strategic positioning and target requirements of CSSC for the development of Beihai Shipbuilding, Beihai Shipbuilding ensures to improve the efficiency of product output, product quality, and optimize the cost control by further improving the design, production, operation and management level, which helps the enterprise to develop in high quality.

Beihai Shipbuilding held a keel laying ceremony for No.10 5500TEU container ship built for France CMA CGM, marking that the project has formally stepped into the stage of in-dock construction.

This keel laid container ship is the last one in 5,500 TEU container ship project.

Beihai Shipbuilding has successfully laid down for the third 100,000-ton class intelligent aquaculture vessel in the series for Qingdao Guoxin Development Group.

The vessel has been upgraded and optimized, with enlarged breeding compartments and staterooms, additional circular runway pools, and optimized breeding systems.
