On July 18, Huarun Dadong Dockyard (HRDD) named and delivered two 75m Floating Crane Vessel No. 8 and No.9″ built for Winning Group 42 days ahead of schedule.
The No. 8 and No. 9 vessels of Winning Group, which are large floating crane vessels, are of certain construction difficulties. The project officially started on July 12, 2023, and during the construction process, CR Dadong set many construction records, shortening the docking period by at least 7 days for all sub-section erection of the two vessels.
The two vessels were launched on April 21, 2024, and the generator loading test was completed on May 20, and all the sea trials of the two vessels were successfully completed on July 1 and 2. Within 10 days after the sea trial, the vessels were successfully delivered to the ship owner with zero defects. The whole construction cycle took 371 days, realizing the goal of good and fast construction.
It is understood that since the two sides began to cooperate in 2013, HRDD has completed the construction of seven floating crane vessels, a floating dock, and barge conversion segments for the Winning Group.
