On July 16,COSCO Shipping Heavy Industry (Zhoushan) successfully signed and delivered the seventh 63,600 DWT bulk carrier “XIN ZHENG SEA” built for BOCOM Leasing. Representatives of both parties signed the delivery documents in the form of “cloud delivery”.
There are a total of eight bulk carriers in the series. “XIN ZHENG SEA” is the seventh 63,600 DWT bulk carrier built for BOCOM Leasing, with a length of 199.9 meters, a beam of 32.26 meters, a depth of 18.85 meters.
During the construction period, all members of the project team continued to deepen the lean management in terms of schedule management, efficiency enhancement, work method improvement, quality control, etc., and realized the major milestones according to the expectations. Thirty-five days after launching, “XIN ZHENG SEA” was ready for sea trials.
On July 7, the bulk carrier completed the sea trials successfully and returned, which ensured the delivery on schedule, and the construction efficiency and quality were highly praised by the shipowner and ship inspector.
