CSSC (Tianjin) Shipbuilding completes its H1 2024 plan, with production scheduled to 2028

In the first half of the year, CSSC (Tianjin) Shipbuilding has achieved an operating income of RMB 1.665 billion (about $230 million), which is 79.28% of its annual plan; the total industrial output value is RMB 2.264 billion (about $310 million), which is 48.50% of its annual plan;delivered 3 ships/467,600 DWT, completing 60%/72% of its annual plan; started construction of 3 ships, completing 54% of its annual plan; produced 80,000 tons of segments, completing 50% of its annual plan; hand-held orders of 33 vessels/6.79 million DWT/nearly RMB 30 billion ( about $4.13 billion), and its production plan is scheduled to 2028.

It is understood that CSSC (Tianjin) Shipbuilding has set up “three centers” to solve the difficult problems in technological innovation, high efficiency, cost control.The Technology Center formulated and implemented 25 work plans, playing an active role in key construction processes.Production readiness plan control system has been continuously improved in the Protection Center, and the effect of production protection is obvious. The cost center focuses on the research and analysis of welding consumables over-expected consumption and cost analysis, and strives to introduce effective cost protection and control programs, which really plays the role of escorting for production.

The two production lines of CSSC (Tianjin) Shipbuilding, the large dock and the small dock, were full of good news, including the delivery of the fifth16,000 TEU containership 67 days ahead of the contract period, the delivery of the seventh16,000 TEU containership 140 days ahead of the contract period, and the delivery of the third 85,000 DWT bulk carrier 135 days ahead of the contract period.
