Jinglu Shipyard Delivered One Vessel and Launched Four Vessels On The Same Day

On July 15, Penglai Zhongbai Jinglu Ship Industry (Jinglu Shipyard) held a delivery ceremony for the 1,400 TEU container ship “BG ORANGE” built for Nordic Hamburg of Germany. It is the sixth container ship of this series built for German ship owner.

It is worth mentioning that, based on the comprehensive summarization of the construction experience of the previous vessel, BG ORANGE has spent only 54 days on underwater outfitting, 32 hours on sea trial, and 15 days after the sea trial for smooth delivery, which once again set a new height of ship delivery in Jinglu Shipyard, and got the unanimous high praise from the shipowner and the ship inspector.

“BG ORANGE” is a container ship mainly serving the Baltic Sea area in Europe. The hull line has been optimized, which greatly reduces the wave resistance at high speeds of 19kn, and at the same time takes into account the resistance at economic speeds and ballast draught. The propulsion system adopts CPP pitch propellers, with shaft-holding shaft generator, and four sailing modes are set. With the same deadweight tonnage, the energy consumption is lower and the sailing speed is faster.

“BG ORANGE” is capable of adapting to congested waterways and inland ports, equipped with bow and stern side thrusters, rudder blades with a maximum angle of 68 degrees, configured with an invertible mast and telescopic radar to pass restricted bridges, etc. The ship is small in scale, with complex systems and a compact arrangement, making it the leader of feeder container ships.

On the same day, Jinglu Shipyard also launched four vessels, including two 1,400 TEU container ships and two 1,800 GT large tuna seine vessels.

This batch of 1400TEU container ship is the eighth and ninth one built by Jinglu Shipyard for the German shipowner; 1800GT tuna seine vessels are the first and second one built by Jinglu Shipyard for Zhoushan Yinghai Pelagic Fishery Co.
