Yangzi-Mitsui Shipbuilding Delivered An 82,500 DWT Bulk Carrier

On July 4, the 82,500DWT bulk carrier “AIN AL KASFAH”, which was built by Yangzijiang Shipbuilding Group’s Yangzi-Mitsui Shipbuilding for a Japanese ship owner, was delivered and started its maiden voyage.

It is understood that this “AIN AL KASFAH” is the second bulk carrier of the fourth generation of Yangzi-Mitsui Shipbuilding’s Kamsarmax series, with an overall length of 229m, a beam of 32.26m and a depth of 20.15m.

By continuous optimization of development and design, compared with previous generations, this new design of bulk carrier has improved in terms of cargo capacity, fuel consumption and endurance.

This not only creates better economic benefits for customers, but also conforms to the trend of energy saving, emission reduction and environmental sustainability.

As previously reported, the first bulk carrier in this series, the PAN CONCORD, was delivered in mid-May.
