Jiangsu WING Heavy Industry delivered a 4,000-ton full-circle slewing crane vessel

Recently, Jiangsu WING Heavy Industry, a subsidiary of Jiangsu Hantong Group formally delivered 4000 tons of full-swing crane vessel “Haiyang Fengdian 76”, adding a “heavy weapon” for the high-quality development of China’s offshore wind power green industry.

The vessel is independently designed by Shanghai Ship Research and Design Institute (SDARI) with full intellectual property rights. The crane is designed with a single side arrangement, with a maximum lifting capacity of 4,000 tons and a lifting height of up to 145 meters above the main deck. It is equipped with DP-2 class power positioning system, which can realize rapid and precise positioning in deep sea.

Simultaneously, it is capable of carrying out various wind power engineering operations in offshore wind farms, and can meet the requirements of foundation lifting for 12~20 MW main turbines. Its functions mainly include construction operations such as lifting of support towers, turbine rooms and blades, and wind turbine foundations, as well as other offshore lifting or support operations.

The vessel has the following advantages in offshore wind power construction: strong lifting capacity, strong emergency response capacity, large cargo capacity and strong positioning capacity.

After delivery, the vessel is expected to be able to complete installation operations for the foundations of about 60 deep sea high-power wind turbines per year, providing about 218.4 MW of green power.
