Hengli Heavy Industries delivers its second newbuilding ahead of schedule

On July 1, the second 61,000 DWT bulk carrier built by Hengli Heavy Industries was formally delivered, 45 days ahead of the contract period, which is also another new shipbuilding delivered by the shipyard after two months following the first built vessel.

Class by China Classification Society (CCS), the bulk carrier has an overall length of 199.9 meters, a beam of 34 meters, a depth of 16.3 meters, a design draft of 11.85 meters, with a design speed of 13.0 knots. It is characterized by green environmental protection, low energy consumption, etc., and all performance and efficiency indexes are at a high level.

In 2024, Hengli Heavy Industries will present the production scene of more than 30 vessels starting successively and more than 20,000 people working together for processing nearly 500,000 tons of steel plates.
