Lankun Ocean Engineering delivered 1,500-ton wind power installation vessel “Lankun 01”

On June 30th, Shandong Marine Group’s Shandong Lankun Ocean Engineering successfully delivered the 1,500-ton wind power installation vessel “Lankun 01” in Qingdao, Shandong Province. The delivery of “Lankun 01” marks the birth of the latest generation of self-propelled jack-up offshore wind power installation vessel, which will effectively promote China’s new offshore energy industry to expand to a wider and deeper area.

“Lankun 01” measures 135 meters in overall length, 50 meters in width, 10 meters in depth and 8kn in design speed. The transom is equipped with a 1500-ton pile-winding main crane, which can realize 70-meter working depth and 170-meter working height to meet the lifting of 20MW offshore high-power wind turbines.

The lifting capacity, operational depth and overall configuration are all in the leading position, which can meet the lifting operation of large wind turbines in coastal and deep offshore wind farms both in China and abroad in suitable deep waters.

Shandong Lankun Offshore Engineering is a state-owned enterprise jointly initiated by Shandong Marine Group, which is mainly engaged in offshore engineering services, established in 2020 with a registered capital of 2 billion yuan. The company is mainly engaged in the investment and operation of offshore engineering equipment and the provision of offshore engineering services such as construction, operation and maintenance of offshore cogeneration and offshore photovoltaic.
