CSSC Guangxi Shipbuilding Delivers Two Ships in Two Days

On June 28th and 29th, China State Shipbuilding Corporation (CSSC) Guangxi Shipbuilding delivered 109-meter Ro-Ro Cargo Ship and 693TEU Container Ship to Tianjin Desail Offshore & Marine Engineering and Indonesia Meratus Company respectively.

The ro-ro cargo vessel is 109 meters long, which is the first 10,000-ton ro-ro cargo vessel in the history of Guangxi shipbuilding industry. After delivery, the ship will operate between the islands of Indonesia and be used to carry general cargo such as automotive spare parts.

The 693TEU container ship is the first container ship undertaken by CSSC Guangxi Shipbuilding, as well as the first container ship exported in the history of Guangxi Shipbuilding Industry.

Upon delivery, the ship will serve the cargo transportation in Indonesian waters as well as the feeder routes of Singapore, Malaysia and other Southeast Asian countries.

It is understood that the two ships were delivered ahead of schedule 2 and 10 days after the sea trials, respectively.
