On June 27th, Jiangsu New Hantong Ship Heavy Industry (NHT) successfully delivered “SEASON TRADER” (Hull No.: HT82-282), the thirteenth 82,000 DWT bulk carrier in the new batch, which was built for Nisshin, a Japanese shipowner.
Designed by Shanghai Ship Research and Design Institute (SDARI), this bulk carrier is characterized by an improved hull shape for lower energy consumption and propellers with higher Light Running Margin (LRM).
Classed by BV, it has an overall length of 229.00 meters, a beam of 32.26 meters and a depth of 20.35 meters.
It is understood that the successful delivery of the vessel “SEASON TRADER” marks the perfect conclusion of the new batch of thirteen 82,000 DWT bulk carriers of the Nisshin series, which have all been delivered.
