On June 22, the first commercial Hydrogen-powered tourist business ship – “Lushan Xihai Xinyuan 1” in Jiangxi Jiujiang was officially delivered and put into operation. The first batch of tourists took the “Lushan Xihai Xinyuan 1”, touring the Lushan Xihai and experiencing the convenience and comfort of green power.
It is understood, “Lushan Xihai Xinyuan 1” is independently developed by jiangxi jiujiang Huxin science and technology industry development. It is the first hydrogen tourist business ship in Jiangxi, which will be put into business tourism and environmental monitoring, and it is also the first hydrogen-electric hybrid new energy high-end tourism business reception ship in China, which is of positive demonstration significance for exploring the application of hydrogen energy technology in inland waterway ships.
It is a demonstration ship built in response to the national green development strategy and to promote the green transformation of regional transportation and shipping. The ship has an overall length of 23.65 m, a beam of 5.5 m, a depth of 2.4 m, a design draft of 0.95 m, it can carry a crew of 22 people, with a maximum speed of 25 km/h.
The whole ship is made of aluminum alloy structure, adopting double motor and double propeller propulsion. The power consists of a hybrid dual power system of hydrogen fuel cells and lithium batteries, featuring zero pollution and zero emissions, high comfort and low energy consumption and noise.
