On June 18th, Hudong-Zhonghua Shipbuilding has launched a 24,000 TEU containership (H1873A) 11 days ahead of schedule at its west plant on Changxing Island.
Thanks to the efforts of Hudong-Zhonghua’s construction team, the containership achieved the best integrity of this series of ships when it launched, which created favorable conditions for shortening the quay construction period.
By comprehensively summarizing the construction experience of the former ships, Hudong-Zhonghua carried out scientific planning, process forwarding, and process optimization, so that the whole construction process was carried out smoothly.
When launched, the whole ship can have water, electricity and gas as well as commission key equipments such as generators, emergency generators, rudders etc.
