Recently, New Times Shipbuilding held a christening and delivery ceremony for a 13,000 TEU container ship.
The ship was named “IQUIQUE EXPRESS” and was delivered to Hapag-Lloyd, a German ship owner, for operation.
Thus, New Times Shipbuilding has completed and delivered 15 ships of total 2,046,600 DWT this year.
The 13,000 TEU container ship has an overall length of 335m, a beam of 51m, a depth of 27.3m, a design draught of 13m, a structural draught of 16m and an air height of less than 65m with a deadweight tonnage of 139,550 tons (under structural draught).
The German shipowner Hapag-Lloyd ordered two 13,000 TEU container ships from the shipyard, which have now all been completed and delivered.
