New Yangzi Shipbuilding Delivered 45,000DWT Bulk Carrier to NAVIBULGAR

On June 2, the 45,000DWT bulk carrier “Trapezitza” built by New Yangzi Shipbuilding under Yangzijiang Shipbuilding Group for the owner of NAVIBULGAR started its maiden voyage. It is reported that this bulk carrier was signed and delivered on May 30th.

Designed by BLUETECH from Finland, the 45,000DWT bulk carrier has an overall length of 190 meters, a structural draft of 10.8 meters, a service speed of 14 knots, and meets the requirements of 1C Ice Class. At the same time, it has been fitted with desulphurization towers and energy-saving devices, which make it more energy-efficient, high-efficiency, and environmentally friendly than similar handysize bulk carriers.

“Trapezitza” is the 9th in the series of 45,000DWT bulk carriers. The bulk carrier has been under construction since August 2023, and its construction period is only 9 months, which once again sets a new record for the series’ duration.

During this process, the ship owner NAVIBULGAR, DNV, Clarkson and the officers and employees of the shipyard cooperated, communicated fully and worked efficiently to build a high-quality, high-performance ship.
