On June 1, Wuhu Shipyard’s San Dian Shui New Energy Technology held a steel cutting ceremony for China’s first high-end new energy 100-passenger tour ship, marking a new step in the field of new energy and high-end domestic tourist ships.
According to reports, the construction of the high-end tour boat commissioned by Wuhu Cultural tourism, with tourism, conference reception, cultural performance and other functions. The design goal of the ship is a modern art space with high quality sightseeing experience, and the exterior design is inspired by the landmark building “Zhongjiang Tower” in Wuhu, perfectly connecting history and culture with modern life.
The interior of the ship is designed in a modern and minimalist style, using open design concepts to provide visitors with a comfortable, stylish and modern interactive space.
The successful starting construction of this new energy ship is not only an important measure to accelerate the upgrading of the shipbuilding industry and promote green development in Anhui Province, but also an important practice of Wuhu Shipyard to actively practice ESG and the national strategy of “Carbon Peaking and Carbon Neutral”.
The ship follows the highest international safety and environmental protection standards, adopts the most advanced electric propulsion system in China, and is equipped with high-efficiency and environmentally friendly battery packs and intelligent management system, which has significant advantages such as zero emission, low noise and low maintenance cost.
