Guangdong Yuexin Ocean Engineering Started to Build Two Electric Cruise Ships

On May 30th, Guangdong Yuexin Ocean Engineering held a Plate Cutting Ceremony marking the start of the construction of two pure electric power cruise ships.

These two pure electric cruise ships are designed with an overall length of 35.8 meters, a beam of 8 meters, a depth of 2.65 meters and a draught of 1.7 meters with a seating capacity of 136 passengers.

The cruise ship is classed by CCS and will be sailing in inland waterway A class navigation area. The main body of the cruise ship is a steel monocoque all-welded structure, and the hull is installed with two decks.

Powered by purely battery-powered dual-engine and dual-propeller propulsion, the cruise ship will mainly sails on the Beijiang River section in Qingyuan City for tourists to parade and sightsee.
