On May 27, Wanhui Holding Group once again placed an order for the construction of two 63,500 dwt Ultramax bulk carriers at Jiangsu Haitong Offshore Engineering Equipment (JSHT).
The new shipbuildings are expected to be completed and delivered in April 2027.
According to Wanhui Group, the signing of these two new shipbuilding contracts fully demonstrates the new atmosphere of the company’s development.
The company will continue to promote the optimization and upgrading of the Wanhui fleet in terms of scale, structure and performance, and enhance the service capability and market competitiveness of the Wanhui fleet in the global dry bulk transportation sector.
